HIV/AIDS event planned Tuesday

The Snohomish Health District has planned a full day of HIV/AIDS awareness activities for the public at various Everett locations Tuesday.

They will offer free or low-cost HIV/AIDS testing from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the health district’s building at 3020 Rucker Ave.

An HIV/AIDS memorial walk begins at 5:30 p.m. at the health district building and goes to the HIV/AIDS Memorial at 3000 Rockefeller Ave.

Between 6 and 7 p.m., guest speakers, including the Snohomish Health District’s health officer and director, will discuss the disease and the work being done worldwide. A candlelight vigil will wrap up the evening.

For more information on these Everett events, call 425-339-5251 or go to www.snohd.org.
