Family of slain Lakewood sergeant thankful for support

LAKEWOOD — The family of slain Lakewood Police Sgt. Mark Renninger issued a statement today:

“On behalf of the entire family we would like to thank the community for their support and thoughts at this time. We would appreciate respecting our privacy as we grieve during this difficult time and support for law enforcement as they continue investigating this senseless act.”
