It's National Cookie Day!

This morning, I was delighted to discover that it's National Cookie Day. In honor of this most auspicious day, head over to the Food Network's 12 Days of Cookies page, which is chock-full of ideas for every kind of cookie you can imagine. Try not to drool on your keyboard.
Also, here's a recipe for my favorite treat: chocolate crinkle cookies. They're light with slightly cakelike texture, and intensely chocolatey.
