Fund set up to benefit children of couple killed in crash

SNOHOMISH — Friends of Brad and Melissa Agerup, two of the four people killed Sunday by an alleged drunken driver, have set up a bank account to benefit the couple’s surviving teenage daughters.

People can make donations at any US Bank branch to the “Sarah and Katie Agerup Education Fund,” or mail donations to US Bank, Everett Office, 1702 Hewitt Ave., Everett, WA 98201.

Donations in memory of Tom and Hilda Woods, the other couple who died in the crash, can be made to the Prostate Cancer Foundation at www.prostatecancerfoundation.org, or to the Progressive Animal Welfare Society at www.paws.org.

A memorial service for Brad and Melissa Agerup is scheduled for 1 p.m. Sunday in the Mariner High School main gym, 200 120th St. SW, Everett.

A memorial service for Tom and Hilda Woods is planned for 1 p.m. Tuesday at Washington Cathedral, 12300 Woodinville-Redmond Road, Redmond.

Matthew C. McDonald, 27, was charged with four counts of vehicular homicide in the crash.

He told police he drank eight beers before getting behind the wheel, according to court papers.
