Bellevue author to appear at Mill Creek book store
Bellevue author Christina Dudley will read from and sign her novel, “Mourning Becomes Cassandra” ($15.95), at 7 p.m. Monday at University Book Store at Mill Creek.
Her protagonist, Cass Ewan, begins mentoring an at-risk child as she’s searching for meaning and purpose in her own life.
Actors from ReAct Theatre will be at the Mill Creek bookstore at noon Saturday presenting dramatic re-enactments of classic holiday stories.

Nationally known bicyclist, writer and speaker Willie Weir presents his program, “A Frugal Cyclist’s Guide to the Universe,” at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Everett Public Library.
Weir will wow and inspire you to hop on two wheels with stories and photos from his world adventures. His book, “Travels With Willie; Adventure Cyclist” ($15), will be for sale with a portion of the proceeds benefitting Sharing Wheels Community Bike Shop, 2531 Broadway, Everett.

Mystery aficionados, mark your calendars for J.A. Jance’s visit to the Everett library with her new book, “Trial by Fire,” from 1 to 3 p.m. Dec. 13. Jance will talk about her books and sign copies of “Trial” ($25.99), which will be for sale at the event by BookWorks of Marysville.
Two local authors, Heidi Thomas and Mary Trimble, will answer questions about writing and getting published at 3 p.m. Friday at the Camano Island Library Pilot Project.
Thomas drew upon her Wild West grandma’s life for her novel, “Cowgirl Dreams” ($12.95). Trimble is the author of two books, “Rosemount” ($25.99) and “McClellan’s Bluff” ($14.99), and will soon see the release of her newest, a romantic suspense novel, “Tenderfoot.”
