Everett vs. Portland: lineup notes

EVERETT

Forward lines:
Maxwell-Froese-Tochkin
Harper-Langkow-Abney
Iwanski-Dailey-MacDonald
McCrea-McGrath-Hunt

Defensive pairings:
Murray-Gudas
Rissanen-de la Lande
Theriau-Sohor

Starting goalie:

Scratches: Minville, Winquist, Elynuik.

Notes: Full roster to choose from for Everett tonight. Cameron Abney gets the nod in that revolving door alongside Chris Langkow and Shane Harper, moving Harper to the left. Right wing Dale Hunt, who missed the past two games because of the flu, returns tonight, but slots into the fourth line as the trio of Zack Dailey, Scott MacDonald and Dan Iwanski remain together.

PORTLAND

Forward lines:
Boychuk-Schneider-Jordan
Ross-Johansen-Niederreiter
Walker-Francis-Rattie
Bennett-Berglund-Swenson

Defensive pairings:
Ponich-Doyle
Rutkowski-Aronson
Morrow-Johnston

Starting goalie:
Curtis

Scratches: Gabriel, Kopitar, Wotherspoon.

Notes: Portland is without the services of left wing Oliver Gabriel, who's out with a spleen injury, and center Gaspar Kopitar, who is away playing for Slovenia at the B pool of the World Junior Hockey Championships. Defenseman Eric Doyle, Everett's first-round pick in the 2004 bantam draft, makes his first appearance at Comcast Arena since his recent trade to Portland from Swift Current.
