Woman found dead at Bothell house fire BOTHELL — A woman was found dead at the scene of a house fire after midnight today, Snohomish County Fire District 7 spokeswoman Autumn Waite said.Crews responded to a call in the 1900 block of 172nd Place SE in the May’s Pond neighborhood at 12:19 this morning, Waite said. Neighbors told the crews that someone might be inside the home. When the crews arrived, smoke and flames were coming from the home, Waite said. Firefighters found the dead woman in a second-story bedroom. No one else was in the home. The Snohomish County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire, which drew 23 personnel from Fire District 7 and caused an estimated $300,000 in damage, Waite said. The woman’s name and a cause of death have not yet been released by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner's Office. |
