Concert presales: Black Eyed Peas, Michael Buble and Editors

Posted at 10:35 am

The Black Eyed Peas are slowly destroying America.

OK, maybe that's a bit of an overstatement, but the group's dominance of the charts certainly feels like an assault on this fine nation.

The band also has lobbed some grenades at the English language.

Take the group's song “I Gotta Feeling.” I mean, I hate to be a stickler, but “gotta” is generally slang for “got to,” as in, “I gotta stop listening to the Black Eyed Peas.” So the song's title breaks down to “I got to feeling.” Awkward turn of phrase, that.

After hitting Bumbershoot this past Labor Day weekend, the group will return to the Northwest for a headlining slot at the Tacoma Dome. Fans can expect to hear tracks from the group's No. 1 album, “The E.N.D.”

There are lots of other presales going on this week, but I only have a handful of passwords. If you have more info, drop it in the comments section below. You'll have my thanks.

  • Black Eyed Peas, April 10, Tacoma Dome, Seattle; $47.50 to $89.50; presale from 10 a.m. Thursday to 10 p.m. Friday. I don't have a password for this yet- will update if I get one. Tickets go on sale to the general public at noon Saturday.

  • Michael Buble, April 3, KeyArena, Seattle; $62.80 to $104.60; presale from 10 a.m. today to 5 p.m. Thursday. Password is “LOVE.” Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday.

  • Editors, Feb. 5, Showbox at the Market, Seattle; $20; presale from 10 a.m. Thursday to 10 p.m. Friday. Not 100 percent sure about the password, but try “showbox.” Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Saturday.

  • Ladysmith Black Mambazo, March 8, Benaroya Hall, Seattle; $35; presale from 10 a.m. today to 10 p.m. Thursday. Don't have a password – will update if I get one. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday.

  • George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Jan. 19, Showbox SoDo, Seattle; $25. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Saturday.

  • Murder City Devils, Dec. 30, Showbox at the Market, Seattle; $20. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Saturday.

I did not realize there would be two presales going on. The info I posted was from the venue and for the Centerflash presale, not the fan club sale.

Unfortunately, it looks like the Centerflash sale has sold out since it began on Wednesday.

I don't have the fan club password, so you may have to try to get tickets when they go on sale to the general public, at 10 a.m. Friday.

Sorry I can't offer more help, and good luck tomorrow.

I tried getting presale tickets using your password of "LOVE" but got this message: "The password you entered is not in our system. Please try again."
