H1N1 vaccine: Wall Street able to take cuts in line

Regarding the Nov. 16 letter, “At-risk groups trump even vets”: The letter writer says the H1N1 vaccination priorities are a simple matter of triage, where the limited supplies go where need is greatest.

The Nov. 20 edition of The Week magazine states that Goldman Sachs and Citigroup have received the sought-after swine flu vaccine ahead of many hospitals, clinics and pediatricians. We patient Vietnam-era vets must surely understand the multi-million dollar bonus grabbing elite rate higher than those who served their country.
