Headline unfairly implicates Boeing

I was very disappointed by the use of the headline “Boeing cargo jet linked to drug smugglers” in Friday’s Herald. It is very unfortunate that drug smugglers were using a plane manufactured by the Boeing Co. But to link that great company to drug smuggling in the headline is reprehensible. The company has no more say as to what one of its products is used for upon delivery than The Herald has with what its customers use their paper for once it is theirs.

Please put a little more thought into headlines, as to not defame our county’s largest employer and maker of great products.
