Curry, Burleson still doubtful

It appears the Seahawks will be without rookie linebacker Aaron Curry (shoulder stinger) and receiver Nate Burleson (ankle) in Green Bay. Jim Mora said in his press conference today that both are doubtful, and added that Curry isn't getting the strength back in his arm that he would need to play this week.

RB Julius Jones (ribs) won't practice today, but should return tomorrow. T.J. Houshmandzadeh, who missed yesterday's practice to be at the funeral of former teammate Chris Henry, got back to Seattle early this morning and will practice.

Long snapper Kevin Houser, whose season ended because of a collapsed lung, got out of the hospital and returned home last night.

The Seahawks will practice outside, as Mora said, to try to simulate the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field. The only problem with that plan is that it's 10 degrees warmer here than Green Bay at the moment, and not freezing.

And in case you were wondering, today's press conference, unlike last Wednesday's, did not have any reference to dirtbags or nail-eaters. Well, that's not entirely true. Mora was presented with a Christmas gift from the media, a black visor with the word "Dirtbags" written on it. That prompted Mora to tell us about a record company called Dirtbag Records that sent him a box of Dirtbag paraphernalia.
