Medical professionals needed to help in Haiti
The International Medical Assistance Team is looking for doctors, nurses and paramedics to deploy to Haiti for about two weeks.
Started by a Snohomish County Fire District 1 paramedic, the group has sent two teams of medics to Haiti so far, fire district spokeswoman Leslie Hynes said.
Medics are currently working at a medical base set up at a golf course in Port-Au-Prince, she said. For more, go to the group's Web site at www.imateam.org.
