Seems Like Yesterday
50 YEARS AGO (1960)

Marjorie Day of the EJC English department was in charge of dinner arrangements. Assisting with the arrangements were Katherine Allison of the college and Ted Cederberg, head of the Everett High School English department.
Classes on safe bicycle riding, sponsored by Country Lassies Home Demonstration Club, would be conducted on the next two Saturdays at Machias School. At the conclusion, Patrolman Bob Landon would give a test and awards.
25 YEARS AGO (1985)

Stephen Phelps and Cary Countryman were honored by Sno-Isle Skills Centers as vocational students of the quarter. Phelps was a Mariner High senior enrolled in the machine trades program while Snohomish High senior Countryman was studying data processing.
