The fields were bursting with color and the sun was out at the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival on Friday. Children chased each other around circular grass paths among the tulip beds at RoozenGaarde Flower and Bulb Farm in Mount Vernon, and people stopped to take photos of the blooms and one another.
