Police seek hit-and-run driver

Police are looking for the driver of a pickup that hit a woman early Friday morning in Snohomish sending her to the hospital.

The hit-and-run was reported by a witness around 6:30 a.m. in the 1100 block of Pine Avenue, Snohomish Police Cmdr. A.J. Bryant said.

A 1970s white Chevrolet pickup with red trim with a driver and a passenger was seen striking the woman, he said. The pickup stopped for a moment before speeding off.

By the time police were called, the victim already had been taken to a hospital. Detectives later learned the woman required stitches on her head. She was treated and released.

Anyone with information about the accident is asked to call Snohomish Police at 360-568-0888.
