Arlington motorcyclist hurt in Highway 530 crash

ARLINGTON — A motorcyclist hurt in a crash east of here Sunday evening was in serious condition Monday.

The 50-year-old Arlington man was westbound on Highway 530 at 294th Street NE when he failed to negotiate a curve and was thrown from the motorcycle, according to the Washington State Patrol. Investigators said speed played a role in the crash.

The man was listed in serious condition on Monday afternoon in the intensive care unit at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
