Dubai's $29B order with Boeing, Airbus in jeopardy
Dubai Aerospace Enterprise's $29 billion order, split between the Boeing Co. and Airbus, is in the air due to the company's financial woes, The Wall Street Journal reports.
DAE ordered 200 aircraft -- 100 from both Boeing and Airbus alike -- in 2007. But the company is considering canceling the orders or deferring deliveries of those aircraft, the WSJ reports, according to unnamed sources.
Neither Boeing nor Airbus commented on the matter. DAE officials also declined to comment.
