Jobless candidate should withdraw

Regarding the Wednesday article, “Candidate says his tax appeal may attract voters”:

I have one question for Dave Schmidt; Are you nuts? He can’t seriously believe that not paying property taxes and homeowners association dues will actually garner support with voters, can he?

Mr. Schmidt has no business running for office, much less representing a constituency. Get out of the race, take care of your finances, and then run for office. Unbelievable!
