Saying goodbye to The Storefront

This will be my last post on The Storefront.

At the end of today, I'll be leaving The Daily Herald for a job a little closer to home.

In lieu of a prolonged farewell riddled with cliches and embarrassing references to John Denver songs, I thought I'd share some of my favorite moments on the job here at the Herald. Over the last 16 months, I've had the pleasure of telling stories about amazing people in Snohomish County's business community.

Here are the faces behind a few of my favorite small-business stories. The photos are by Herald photographers.

Fortunately, The Storefront will continue on without me. The Herald's Mike Benbow will be updating the blog for a while.

Be nice to him. He's a great boss and an even better journalist.

Thanks for letting me tell your stories, Snohomish County. I've enjoyed getting to know you.

You can keep in touch with me at www.amyrolph.com or find me on Twitter as @amyrolph.
