Hey, big spenders, spend a little time July 9 to 11 at Washington Wines Festival’s Wine Weekend and put your money to work for a good cause.
The event benefits Camp Korey at Carnation Farm, a nonprofit camp serving children and their families living with serious and life-threatening illnesses.
So what else do you get besides a warm feeling for tickets ranging from $750 to $4,000? Plenty of fine Washington wines, delicious food from top-notch Northwest chefs, and entertainment. Wine Weekend features more than 50 of Washington state’s top wineries.
Activities include fly-fishing lessons, tennis lessons and a wine-tasting seminar.
The event begins at noon Friday and winds up at 10 a.m. (after breakfast) Sunday. Two patron tickets (lodging included for two nights) are $4,000. The two-day Wine Weekend tickets (no lodging) are $1,500 each, and single-day tickets (Friday or Saturday) are $750.
Wine Weekend takes place at Camp Korey, 28901 NE Carnation Farm Road, Carnation.
