The point of The Buzz is to be playful and engaging. I am convinced the items were offered up in humor but, instead, expressed unfounded and cruel stereotypes.

Follow the money: Associated Press reporter Beth J. Harpaz tells how she monitored her 16-year-old son's unchaperoned summer tour of Europe by keeping tabs on his debit card transactions and ATM withdrawals via online banking.
Sounds like a great idea, although all those transactions at coffee shops in Amsterdam might be a bit puzzling if your kid wasn't a java drinker before the trip.
What's in a name: This week's Aptonym feature introduces us to Darin Speed, who collects vintage Ford Mustangs.
Next week we'll meet Bill Guttless, who collects Chevrolet Chevettes with automatic transmissions, followed by Irvin Whitebelt, who collects 1986 Cadillac Coupe de Villes.
