Wedding gift rift?

It's the gift receipt that counts: Wedding season is in full swing, so we have some tips on how to honor the bride and groom without writing a check that will be dishonored at the bank. For example, you can ignore that old saw about trying to judge how much to spend on a wedding gift by guessing what the host will spend on each guest at the reception.

It's easier if you just wait for the bill.

What's on the tube, eh? Movie subscription service Netflix is making its move out from the United States and into Canada by offering its online video streaming service to our neighbors to the north.

Netflix hadn't originally planned to offer movies in Canada but changed its mind when it ordered too many copies of the 1977 Paul Newman hockey movie, "Slapshot," and 1983's "Strange Brew: The Adventures of Bob and Doug McKenzie."

And eat dessert first: The Employee Benefit Research Institute says that most baby boomers will exhaust their savings after 10 to 20 years of retirement, meaning they will have to delay retirement or reduce their standard of living.

Not The Buzz, baby. Our plan is retire now, exhaust our savings in about five years, and then go back to work. Just save us a Wal-Mart greeter's vest.
