Local and state candidates invited to forum
EDMONDS -- Candidates running for U.S. Senate and Congress, the state Legislature and Supreme Court have been invited to meet with voters at a forum on Aug. 5 in Edmonds.
Candidates vying for local offices, including Snohomish County prosecuting attorney, also plan to be at the forum.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. at the Edmonds United Methodist Church, 828 Caspers St.
Speak with candidates until the program begins at 7 p.m. Candidates then will make short presentations and answer questions from the audience.
The 29th annual candidates forum is sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Snohomish County, the Edmonds branch of the American Association of University Women and the outreach team from Edmonds United Methodist Church.
