For patrons of Washington wine country, the days of wine and roses are becoming the days of wine and Rover.

The limousine service known as Racing Limos is combining our love of cabernet with our love of canines by offering winery tours that include wine tasting and dog visiting. On these tours of several Columbia and Yakima valley wineries, visitors get to sip wine while also meeting and greeting the various "winery dogs" of the region.

Wineries and their corresponding canines on the tour are:

  • Aurora at Sleeping Dog Wines in Benton City.

  • Argus at Tapteil Winery in Benton City.

Bung the Wonder Dog at Bonair Winery in Zillah.

Brodie the Westie at Severino Cellars in Zillah.

Jax and Sadie of Airfield Winery in Prosser.

Riley at Hightower Cellars in Benton City.

Autumn and Copper at Chinook Winery in Prosser.

Koda at Pontin Del Roza Winery in Prosser.

The "Meet the Winery Dogs" tours are based on the standard limo rental cost of $90 per hour. Each limo can hold up to 10 people and the tour is estimated to last about four hours. So the estimated total cost of a tour would be $360.

To book a tour and for further information about cost and other amenities go to Racing Limos of Tri-Cities at www.racinglimos oftricities.com.
