PBS musician performs

Aaron Nigel Smith3532B6A8, the newest member of the PBS show "Between the Lions," is presenting an interactive musical concert starting at 1 p.m. Sunday. at Imagine Children's Museum, 1502 Wall St., Everett.

Smith plays guitar, percussion and sings. This 30-minute show will feature music from his latest CD, "Everyone Loves to Dance." The performance is free with museum admission.

Smith is known for his energetic music and encouraging children their parents and caregivers to use music as the stimulus for healthy, active fun, according to promotional material about the show.

This concert is a part of the museum's guest performer series and is funded in part by a grant from the City of Everett Cultural Arts Commission.

Fallen officer rally: There will be a fallen officer rally at noon Sunday at Crystal Mountain near Mount Rainier.

There will be a contingency from Harley Davidson of Seattle in Lynnwood.

They will depart at 8:30 a.m. from 5711 188th St. SW. A continental breakfast will be served at 7:30 a.m.

Sunday concert: The 1st Marine Division Band, on tour from Camp Pendleton, Calif., will be in Mountlake Terrace at 6 p.m. Sunday at Evergreen Playfield, 22205 56th Ave. W. This patriotic program, sponsored by Tour de Terrace, is free.

The band performs more than 400 times each year.
