Police seek help identifying driver involved in hit-and-run

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE -- Police are asking the public to help identify a hit-and-run driver who injured a pedestrian July 13.

A man walking his dog along the south side of 238th Street SW at 54th Avenue SW reportedly was struck from behind, Mountlake Terrace city spokeswoman Penny Merkley said.

The victim's daughter, who witnessed the incident, told police her father was hit by a full-size, four-door black truck. She didn't get the make, model or license plate number. The vehicle's passenger-side mirror was damaged in the incident.

The man suffered a concussion and a foot injury.

Anyone with information should contact Officer Eric Jones at 425-670-8260.
