Marysville family escapes fire after hearing smoke alarm

MARYSVILLE -- No one was injured in a garage fire Thursday afternoon in the 12500 block of 12th Avenue NW.

Smoke could be seen for miles, and crews laid more than 1,000 feet of hose while fighting the fire.

The family who lived in the house got out after hearing smoke alarms.

Snohomish County Fire Marshal's Office was investigating the fire Thursday night.
