Lynnwood brothers arrested after attack on skateboarder

BOTHELL -- Two Lynnwood brothers, 28 and 35, were behind bars Thursday after they allegedly beat up a skateboarder.

A Bothell man, 19, told police he was skateboarding around 8 p.m. Wednesday in the 22900 block of Fitzgerald Road when two men demanded his skateboard. He refused, and they punched him at least twice, according to police reports. The attackers then ran away.

Police contacted the brothers, who said the trouble began when the Bothell man threw his skateboard at them.

The brothers were both arrested for investigation of second-degree robbery. The Bothell man was not seriously injured.
