Prep Football: Granite Falls 42, Darrington 7

GRANITE FALLS -- Granite Falls jumped out to a 28-0 lead in the first half. In the third quarter, the Tigers tacked on two more touchdowns, one on a 4-yard run by junior Josh Beschta and the other on a 56-yard interception return by Tyler Hamilton. Granite Falls out-rushed Darrington 275 yards to 158, which, combined with two interception returns for scores, was too much for the Loggers to overcome.
