Woman in hospital after I-5 crash south of Marysville
MARYSVILLE -- An Everett woman was airlifted to a Seattle hospital Sunday after crashing into a concrete barrier on I-5 just south of Marysville.
The woman, 43, was southbound in the far left lane about 1:15 p.m. when a tire on her car apparently blew out, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The woman lost control and crossed all lanes of the freeway. The car slammed into a concrete barrier on the right shoulder, according to the State Patrol.
The woman was taken by helicopter to Harborview Medical Center.
