LYNNWOOD — A PT Cruiser was damaged Tuesday morning after a woman parking a Mercedes-Benz C230 nearby mixed up the brake and gas pedals.

The Mercedes ended up on top of the Cruiser at about 9:30 a.m., said Shannon Sessions, spokeswoman for Lynnwood police. The Cruiser was parked in a business complex in the 19200 block of 36th Avenue W.

The driver of the Cruiser was working nearby. No injuries were reported.

The driver of the Mercedes, 38, of Lynnwood, was later cited with second-degree negligent driving, which carries a $550 fine.
