Prep girls soccer: Snohomish 4, Cascade 0

SNOHOMISH — Snohomish shut out Cascade (4-6 league, 5-7 overall) in a Wesco 4A contest. Darrian Trisko scored in the 17th minute on an assist from Amanda Morrell to open up the scoring for the Panthers (8-2, 9-2). She was followed by midfielder Grace Nelson in the 39th minute (Trisko assist), senior forward Courtney Johnson in the 47th minute (Brooke Pingrey assist) and junior Annie Hund in the 70th minute (Lauren Johnson assist). Keeper Melissa Dreves earned the shutout for the Panthers.
