HomeStreet Bank to open Lynnwood loan center

SEATTLE – HomeStreet Bank announced it will open a new home loan center at 19405 44th Ave. W., Lynnwood, early next year.

“The branch is well located between a busy commercial area and a well-established residential area,” said Rich Bennion, residential lending director for HomeStreet Bank. “Snohomish County is an ideal market for further growth of our mortgage lending business, and this site provides us with a convenient and centralized hub from which to significantly grow that business in north end markets."

The bank currently has full-service mortgage and banking offices in Marysville and Mountlake Terrace.

“We have plans to open additional home loan centers over the next 18 months,” said Bennion. “We are currently evaluating additional locations, particularly in the greater Seattle area.”

HomeStreet Bank offers a full line of conventional, FHA and VA mortgage products. The bank will originate approximately $2 billion in home loans in 2010.

The Lynnwood home loan center is scheduled to open in early 2011.
