Get inspired at Everett Home & Garden Show

The Everett Home & Garden Show, now in its ninth year, is back for another three-day run, starting Friday, featuring more than 200 vendors showcasing all the latest in home improvement, interior decorating, and landscaping products and services.

Show highlights will include a focus on renewable energy options, landscape exhibits and expert guest speakers, who will offer free seminars.

Where: Comcast Arena, 2000 Hewitt Ave., Everett.

When: This year's show will stay open two hours later on Friday and Saturday with show hours from noon to 8 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Friday, there will be a wine tasting, another new feature, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Free parking: On Saturday and Sunday only, free parking will be available in the Snohomish County parking garage at Oakes Avenue and Wall Street, yet another first for the show.

Cost: Admission is $6.75 or $6.25 for ages 58 and older, sold at the door. Ages 16 and younger can attend free. Coupons for $2 off admission are available at www.everett homegardenshow.com and at www.heraldnet.com.
