Prep boys soccer: Snohomish 3, Monroe 0

SNOHOMISH -- Connor Barton scored two goals and Brandan George got an assist and earned the shutout in goal to lead Snohomish to the Wesco North win. Barton scored off a long kick from George in the 19th minute, then finished off a Riley Cross assist in the 47th for a 2-0 lead. Carson Pingrey added the third goal unassisted in the 76th minute for the Panthers (2-0 league, 2-1 overall). Monroe fell to 0-2, 0-3.
