Prep boys soccer: Snohomish 3, Monroe 0

MONROE -- Connor Barton struck first for Snohomish on a Carson Pingrey assist in the 44th minute of the Wesco North game. Collin Shelton scored for the Panthers on a Reilly Cross assist in the 61st minute. Brenden Wheeler added a 64th-minute penalty kick. Snohomish (8-4 league, 8-5 overall) goalkeeper was Brenden George got the shutout. Jose Perez Jr. was in goal for Monroe (3-9, 3-10).
