Northwest Natural Lighting in Lynnwood is moving to Edmonds and is expanding its showroom and warehouse facilities. The Greenbank Farm Management Group has established a search committee to find a new executive director for Greenbank Farm. The group said in a statement that it wants to emphasize community outreach and relationship building in sustainable agriculture and agricultural training, environmental protection, preservation and stewardship of wetlands and other wildlife habitat.
Snohomish County’s taxable retail sales rose slightly last year to $9.7 billion, a 0.9 percent increase, the state Department of Revenue reported. In Everett, taxable sales rose 2.6 percent to $2.3 billion. Statewide, it fell 0.1 percent to $100.8 billion, the agency said. That’s an improvement from 2009, when it fell 11.2 percent.
Unique Beverage Co. of Everett has added Sunflower Farmers Market Stores as a supplier of its Cascade Ice brand of sparkling waters. The product is now available in 37 states.
