Every graduate in the class of 2011 has a story
Thousands of high school students from Snohomish County are graduating this June.
And for every graduate, a good story is waiting to be told.
Today, The Herald is featuring seven grads. All are top-flight students, though few are typical valedictorians or commencement speakers. Click on the profiles below to meet them.
We have a Marysville girl from Thailand who thrived after the sudden death of her father, an Edmonds boy from Ghana who plans to be an electrical engineer, an Everett girl who spent much of her childhood in India and is on her way to becoming a dermatologist.
There's a Lake Stevens boy who already has a job as an automotive mechanic, a Monroe girl who has sailed the Pacific and wants to be an ocean engineer, an Arlington boy who loves jazz and a Mukilteo girl who plans to be a playwright.
