Unshapely state

Time to hit the treadmill, Washington: Washington state was recently ranked as the 28th most obese state in the nation with 26.4 percent of adults considered seriously overweight, up from its 32nd-place ranking in 1995.

Which explains why the state has been sucking in the Cascade Range and holding its breath any time California or Florida walks by.

Harry Potter and the Ghostly Pallor: Both the Lowes theater at the Alderwood mall and the Sno-Isle Library in Marysville are screening all seven "Harry Potter" movies this month ahead of the July 15 premiere of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2.''
