Shannon Ross, 53, is a mother of three who loves to stay active, said her daughter, Erin Ross, 26.
The family has been going out near Shannon Ross' home and walking around, trying to find anything new, Erin Ross said. They're also putting up fliers.
"We're just trying to wait it out the best we can," she said.
Snohomish County sheriff's deputies are investigating the woman's disappearance, spokeswoman Rebecca Hover said. Ross has health conditions that prevent her from driving, so she walks to work at the Warm Beach Senior Center.
It would be out of character for her not to check in with her family, Erin Ross said.
Shannon Ross recently completed a competitive run for breast cancer awareness.
"She's very active, and loved to walk and hike and stuff like that, be outdoors and garden," Erin Ross said.
Shannon Ross lives in the 17700 block of 65th Drive NW in unincorporated Stanwood.
Deputies found no sign of foul play at Ross' home, Hover said. She left her purse behind, though she didn't always bring it along for walks.
Investigators couldn't share any new details this week, Hover said.
Ross is described as white, 5 feet, 9 inches tall and 140 pounds. She has brown hair and blue eyes.
Anyone who knows anything about her whereabouts is asked to call 425-388-3845.
There is no indication that the case is connected to the disappearance of Angela Gilbert, 41, of Granite Falls, Hover said. Gilbert was last reported seen June 2 in the Granite Falls area.
