Front Porch: Decorated eggs aren’t just for Easter anymore

Eggs galore in Everett

The Egg Artist Guild of Washington, from Marysville, offers The Washington State Decorated Egg Show on Saturday and Sunday in Everett.

The theme is "Country Garden" and is planned for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Everett Holiday Inn, 3105 Pine St.

See hundreds of decorated (real) eggs on display.

Admission is $5. Proceeds from a 50/50 raffle go to Providence Hospice of Snohomish County.

Dance performance: Dunamis & Glorious Momentum from the Reflections School of Dance in Snohomish will perform from 3:45 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday on the community stage at the Mill Creek Festival, a weekend street fair centered on Mill Creek Boulevard (behind Albertsons) and including a portion of 161st Street (between the Bank of America and Rite-Aid).
