Merchants end season with loss to Seattle

SEATTLE -- The Seattle Studs scored four unearned runs on three errors and defeated the Everett Merchants 11-3 in a Pacific International League game Tuesday.

Former Merchant Bobby LaCount hit a 2-run home run in the sixth inning for Seattle to seal the win.

Karsten Streiby had two hits and an RBI for the Merchants.

Everett finished its season in second place with a 14-4 record in the league.
