The Lynnwood Police Department just released its 61-page annual report for this past year.
The chief’s message on Page 3 talks about the financial and staffing problems the department is facing and how they are trying to make it work regardless.
In 2010, the city saw drops in some serious crimes such as rape, robbery and aggravated assault, the report says. Vehicle thefts went up about 8 percent.
On average, the department got a call for service every 15 minutes.
