Snohomish residents warned of convicted sex offender

SNOHOMISH -- Police are warning people near Snohomish about a convicted sex offender who recently moved to the area.

Roy Andrew Alcorn moved into the 8100 block of 145th Drive SE, northeast of the city. He is a Level III offender, the level deemed most likely to re-offend.

Alcorn was convicted of child molestation in Snohomish County in 2007. He is described as white, 41, 6 feet tall and 180 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.
