Prep girls soccer: Snohomish 8, Stanwood 3

STANWOOD -- Teamwork benefitted Snohomish in its Wesco North victory over Stanwood with Aly Morgan, Kaytlin Willis, Annie-laurie Hund, and Brooke Pingrey each putting up a goal and an assist. The Panthers led 5-0 before Stanwood got on the board late in the second half with a goal from Lauren Allison. Stanwoods final Goal, Kamryn Barney from Willis, came in the final minute of the game. Melissa Dreves and Taylor Knapinski split time in goal for Snohomish (11-1-1 league 12-1-1 overall) while Alex Brewer and Kaari Skagrud were keepers for Stanwood (2-11, 2-12).
