EVERETT — A badly decomposed body was found Monday afternoon in brush along Airport Road in south Everett, officials said.
The body was found about 2 p.m. by some workers who were trimming brush between Beverly Park Road and 112th Street SW, Snohomish County sheriff’s spokeswoman Rebecca Hover said.
It appears the body had been there for months, Hover said. It wasn’t immediately clear if it was a man or woman, or how the person died.
Detectives on Monday weren’t aware of any missing person cases that might be connected, Hover said.
The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office is expected to conduct an autopsy, identify the body and release the cause and manner of death.
Further details were not available Monday night.
