Snohomish girls soccer clinches Wesco North

SNOHOMISH -- Freshman forward Ellie Otteson scored in the 42nd minute on an assist from Annie-Laurie Hund and Snohomish (12-1-1 league, 13-1-1 overall) secured the Wesco North division title after defeating Marysville Pilchuck. The Panthers got a late goal in the 65th minute when Sissy Bates-Mundell sent a shot into the box which a Tomahawks (3-10, 4-10) defender misplayed for an own goal. Panthers keeper Melissa Dreves had seven saves.
