Mayor's choices reflect good sense

I applaud Mayor Ray Stephenson's endorsements for City Council. He is trying to retain a common sense working majority and it is his right to do so, especially with the tough budget and tax choices of today. He wants both the best incumbents and best challengers, and it is OK by me.

I will follow in step with the mayor's choices because they only reinforced the way I planned to vote. Nobody needs to worry: Ray Stephanson's excellent record of bringing the council together and working well with everyone speaks for itself.
