Front Porch: Make rommegrot and vafflers part of your complete breakfast Saturday in Silvana

Peace Lutheran Church Women's "Early Country Christmas'' bazaar is planned for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at 1717 Larson Road in Silvana.
They plan to offer lefse, rommegrot, vafflers, baked goods, used treasures, crafts, harvest items, a silent auction and quilt raffle. There will also be soup, salad, rolls, coffee and pie.
Rommegrot is Norwegian porridge and vafflers are Norwegian waffles.

Dedication Saturday: The dedication of the new "Resilience" sculpture on the Centennial Trail just north of Arlington begins at 10 a.m. Saturday across the Stillaguamish River from the city's Haller Park, 1100 West Ave. County officials changed the start time on Thursday.

With or without smoosh: The Stanwood Area Historical Society hosts its annual Swedish Pancake and Belgian Waffle Breakfast from 7 a.m. to noon Saturday at Floyd Norgaard Cultural Center, 27130 102nd Ave. NW in Stanwood.
The breakfast will include a choice of Swedish pancakes or Belgian waffle, sausage, juice and coffee or tea. The Swedish pancakes will include lingonberry smoosh, although syrup, both regular and sugar-free will be available. The cost is $7.
Smoosh? That's lingonberry butter.

Art in Mukilteo: Peruse original and handmade art, do some holiday shopping and give to a good cause. You can do all that at the same place at the Holiday Art Mart from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Rosehill Community Center, 304 Lincoln Ave. in Mukilteo.
Proceeds go to the Mukilteo High school Senior Scholarship Fund for high school seniors pursuing the arts in higher education.
