Sports fans may own the bracket, but we think the marathon eating holiday, Thanksgiving, brings out the beast in all of us. Will mashed potatoes stamp out stuffing? Will turkey triumph in the end? Hop on the gravy train and vote for your favorite T-day foods.

How it works: HeraldNet polls decide which dishes advance in each round and which get fed to the dog. The voting schedule: • Round 1, Nov. 8-10; • Round 2, Nov. 11-14; • Round 3 (Sweet 16), Nov. 15-16; • Round 4 (Edible 8), Nov. 17-18; • Final Four, Nov. 19-21; • Championship, Nov. 22-23.
